Privacy-sensitive data or personal data are processed via our webshop. Wegman Efficiency considers careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

In our processing, we comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that we:

• clearly specify our purposes before we process personal data, via this privacy statement;
• limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data necessary for legitimate purposes;
• you first explicitly request permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required;

Wegman Efficiency is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose at the webshop Wegmanshop.nl. We recommend that you read it carefully.

Handling order

When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to handle it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. For this we use your name and address details, telephone number, billing address, e-mail address and payment details. We have a legitimate interest in this. We keep this information until your order has been completed. We keep certain customer data longer in connection with the statutory fiscal retention obligation.

Providing to third parties

We work with certain companies, who may receive your above-mentioned personal data from us.

We work together with:

• Our payment provider Shopify payments

o Our mail company Sendcloud

Of these parties, Shopify Payments is located outside the EU.

Placing reviews on the website

You can leave us a review. We use the necessary personal data to publish the review on the website. For this we use your e-mail address and nickname. We do this on the basis of your permission. We keep this information for 10 years.

Contact form and Newsletter

You can use the contact form to ask us questions or make requests. For this we use your name and address, e-mail address and nickname. We have a legitimate interest in this. We will keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response and six months thereafter. This way we can easily access the information for follow-up questions. We can also train our customer service to become even better.

We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe.

Your email address will be automatically added to the list of subscribers. This data will be kept until you cancel the subscription.

Statistics and profiling

We keep statistics about the use of our webshop, but this is done anonymously at all times. We use these statistics to improve our web store to, for example, only show relevant information. We may combine your personal data to learn more about you. Of course we will respect your privacy at all times. If you do not want this, you can always report this to us.

We use your IP address for this. We have a legitimate interest in this. We keep this information for six months.

Advertising

We would like to send you advertising about offers and new products or services. This is what we do:

You can object to this advertisement at any time. You can block us or use the unsubscribe option.

Location details

As necessary for the service, we may collect location data (GPS) from you. Your permission will be requested for this at the moment.

This (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation/maps software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by, for example, Google or Apple itself. We have no control over that. So always read the privacy statements of the relevant provider.

Ads

Our webshop shows advertisements. We do not publish these ourselves, advertising agencies with which we work do that. These agencies keep track of whether you like them, and use that information to only make fun or interesting advertisements and offers in the future.

Provision to other companies or institutions

With the exception of the partners mentioned above, we will under no circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, unless we are legally obliged to do so (for example if the police require this in case of a suspicion of a crime). 

Statistics

We keep statistics about the use of our webshop, but this data is always anonymised. Social media buttons are included in our webshop. With this, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.

Cookies

Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you do not have to fill it in every time. But we can also see that you visit us again.

When you visit our webshop for the first time, we will show a message with an explanation about cookies. We will hereby ask for your consent to the use of these cookies.

You can disable the placing of cookies via your browser, but some things in our webshop will no longer work properly. 

We have made agreements with other companies that place cookies about the use of cookies. However, we do not have full control over what they do with the cookies themselves. So also read their privacy statements. (Note: these can change regularly)

Security of personal data is of great importance to us. We ensure that your data is properly secured with us. We constantly adjust the security and pay close attention to what can go wrong.
